About Us

FS Golf, owned by Frank Stranick, is committed to providing the highest quality Clubfitting & Clubmaking service to the golfing community. All Fittings are conducted using the latest launch monitor, swing analysis and video technology.

If you have purchased Clubs off the rack at one of the retail outlets, bring the clubs in to FS Golf and in some cases adjustments can be made to bring your iron set close to what you need in a fitted set. Can your irons be fitted completely - NO, but the changes I will make should be helpful. Drivers are another story, if they don't fit they can not be fit to you. I can only make certain adjustments. The vast majority of Drivers sold in the Box Stores are too long, however, the heads are weighted to the length of 45" or 46" clubs. When the Driver is shortened to the length that you need to make on center and square contact, from 10 to 20 grams of weight will normally have to be added to the head. Your shaft may also have to be tip trimmed to retain the flex of the original length club. This will require removing the head and making weight adjustments. Also, if the Loft is incorrect for your skill level or the Face Angle is inadequate to help correct your ball flight direction, these cannot be changed - You have what you have. If you do not have the correct shaft for your skill level - the shaft can be changed as can the grip size and composition. I will be happy to discuss the changes required and what can be done to your existing Driver or Fairway Woods. Bottom line, you were sold something that just won't work for you.

My goal is to sell you my 19 years of experience as a Professional Clubfitter. Should you desire to purchase clubs from FS Golf, all club components (irons, hybrids, woods, putters) offered for sale and assembly into the finished product are USGA approved and are equal or superior to any product offered for sale on the market today. The quality of the product I sell is second to none on the market today. The Big Box Stores offer you Marketing, I offer you SATISFACTION.

The Mission of FS Golf is to enhance the long term enjoyment and satisfaction of your golfing experience. To achieve this goal, the player must be playing golf clubs that are Custom fit by a Professional, Certified Clubfitter to the specifications appropriate for that particular Golfer. FS Golf is always Custom and Never Standard off the rack.

There are 13  key elements to a Custom Clubfitting. At FS Golf , you will be introduced to the elements of Clubfitting found in the "Common Sense Approach to Clubfitting" developed by the Guru of Clubfitting, Tom Wishon. How many of the 13 elements were you offered at your last big box store purchase or by someone who represents themselve as Custom Fitter. The one size fits all, off the rack clubs are at best a lottery proposition. If your clothing store only offered one size suit or dress what would you do? Wear it or get it tailored to fit you? Obviously, it would be the latter. The same principle is applicable to golf clubs. Mass marketed Golf Clubs will never nor can they ever match the playability of a truely custom fit set. Their goal is mass production and rapid turnover. My Goal is Your SATISFACTION. What is the difference between the Big Box Store Brands and FS Golf.

At FS Golf, I can do what they can do BUT they Cannot do what I can do and that is to fit each individual golfer, individually, one club at a time.

For a Golfer to play their best golf, it is not a matter of the Brand Name or the Model, or the Price  or the Color of the shaft or the TV Marketing Hype, IT IS THE FIT. If you have already purchased clubs at the Big Box Store, you owe it to yourself to get Professionally fit. Do not join the 90% of Golfers who purchase clubs based on the items listed above regardless of whether or not the clubs fit their setup, swing characteristics or skill level. Golf Clubs should fit you NOT you fit the clubs. If you are comtemplating a new set of clubs, do not purchase until you have been fit by a PCS Certified Class "A" Clubfitter or an AGCP Level 10 Clubfitter.  To find a Certified Clubfitter in your area go to either www.Wishongolf.com or www.agcpgolf.com.

Always ask the person trying to sell you a fitting or clubs for their Certification, Qualification and Level of Experience. At FS Golf, this information is readily available for you viewing or you can page back to the HOME section of this web site. Unlimited Customer references are available upon request.

You are welcome to call (610) 564-3465 or stop by FS Golf at any time to schedule a Fitting appointment or to inspect or field test any club available for sale at FS Golf. Also, during your visit, I will be more than happy to explain the FS Golf Fitting Process and show you all of the golf products available. . If you are purchasing new clubs, do not buy until you have been properly Fit and have had an opportunity to use clubs that you may be considering for purchase in normal playing conditions. My policy is try before you buy.
